Source: asm Version: 9.7-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
asm uses default source/target compatibility 11 but builds with 8. gradle vendors asm in gradle-api-4.4.1.jar and is built with source/target compatibility 8. Would it be possible to set asm source/target compatibility to 8 so that gradle has consistent class versions and can be used to build projects with openjdk-8? -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers noble-updates APT policy: (500, 'noble-updates'), (500, 'noble-security'), (500, 'noble'), (100, 'noble-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.8.0-45-generic (SMP w/32 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
