retitle 372091 Escaped quotes in the cmd="" of a .menu file cause a
menudefs.hook that makes the menu plugin crash.

It looks really wrong in your .menu file to have esacped quotes like \"
which it then translates into "
Of course it's wrong for the plugin to die as well.
