Does it need to be in its own package, or maybe samba-common[-bin] will be okay too?
It does not need to be in its own package. It can be in another package but in this case, it would help us (Kali Linux) if you could adapt the control fields of the package to ease the transition. Something like: Breaks: winexe (<< 2:4.21.0+dfsg-2) Replaces: winexe (<< 2:4.21.0+dfsg-2) Provides: winexe Thanks Sophie
