Being fed up of having gnome-cups-icon bothering me (see ), I tried and stop it. But as there's no icon whatsoever in the notiifcation area, I had to do it from command-line. I killed the process (simple kill command), and it was silently restarted without asking for confirmation. I'd rather not want such behaviour doing things in the user's back.
