Package: tuigreet Version: 0.9.1-2 Severity: minor X-Debbugs-Cc: andypiper_...@imap.cc
Dear Maintainer, I updated to the latest tuigreet package, and then rebooted. The tuigreet window on my MNT Pocket Reform now shows Authenticate into {c}hostname" where {c} is an ASCII diamond character; and the last character of the hostname appears again underneath the hostname on the line before the Username prompt. I have not changed any configuration related to tuigreet. I have tried changing the console font but this same display issue happens across several tried via dpkg-reconfigure console-setup. NB the LC_* information in the system information is due to ssh'ing from a Mac to make this report; they are (I believe) unrelated to the tuigreet issue. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: arm64 (aarch64) Kernel: Linux 6.10.9-mnt-reform-arm64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_FORCED_MODULE, TAINT_CRAP, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=locale: Cannot set LC_MESSAGES to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages tuigreet depends on: ii libc6 2.40-2 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-4 tuigreet recommends no packages. tuigreet suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded
