C. This package requires super user access, general reasoning? D. Package is a Graphical User Interface (GUI) application with no documentation accessible from within the GUI. This is a very serious issue for me, especially when performing disk changes is a core application function. I would class this as a major barrier to Debian inclusion.
I like this kind of deep discussion :-) If more people were involved it would be even better. Certainly the author did not include within the object an item to access the program's documentation, but I don't know to what extent this can be fixed, with an entry in the manpage, for example. I also don't want to put my hands on the fire for Ventoy, as I explained in the README.source file there are things that do not allow the package to be in the main section of Debian. In my personal opinion, Ventoy is an excellent and very useful application, which is why I wanted to package it and give it a chance to pass or not through the mentors filter.
