Yes please. How long does it hang? My understanding of the init scripts (that I wrote) is that it should never print clamd until it's fairly sure it has killed clamd. Can you set -x the script? Can you strace the clamd process? I cannot reporduce this here at all, and I just don't see where the bug is. I do know there are some thread issues with clamd, but I am not sure those are the issue here. Can you also tell me the kernel version on the affected machine?
