I'm reopening and reassigning this issue since to fix this issue properly as intended, we also need to get this fixed in tasksel. I submitted a merge request to fix this and fix another unintended dependency, and hopefully we will have less unintended dependencies in the future. Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
