the manpage for mdadm suggests enabling the mdmonitor.service unit. However, this unit as delivered cannot be enabled since it has no installation configu and "therefore is not meant to be enabled by systemctl". Neither the unit itself nor any file in /usr/share/doc/mdadm explains the recommended way to enable mdmonitor. The docs should be improved. Greetings Marc
