Package: python-ipywidgets-doc Version: 8.1.3-1 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
ipywidgets has been stuck in unstable for a while because python-ipywidgets-doc depends on node-jupyter-widgets-html-manager, which doesn't exist. This dependency seems to have been introduced in https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/ipywidgets/-/commit/7cd6bc7ac967ef4ab21ef37f20278213b607f9b1, so presumably it was work in progress at some point, but I can't see it anywhere. Roland, what was the plan here? Do you still have some work in progress lying around somewhere that could be polished up and pushed into unstable, or should we do something else instead? -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.10.4-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages python-ipywidgets-doc depends on: pn libjs-mathjax <none> pn libjs-requirejs <none> pn node-jupyter-widgets-html-manager <none> python-ipywidgets-doc recommends no packages. python-ipywidgets-doc suggests no packages.
