I can sponsor this. Given that you (with your maintainer hat) accept my changes (with improvements), I don't think this is a NMU anymore. It should use non-NMU versioning. Please point me at a git commit id or attach a .dsc. Consider signing the mail that requests sponsorship. You may also include other changes that you see fit and you may also mail me for the later upload moving these changes to unstable. I don't intend to be a long-term sponsor though. Helmut
