Package: libvte-2.91-common Version: 0.77.91-2 Severity: normal Tags: upstream X-Debbugs-Cc: a...@kernel.org
Dear Maintainer, I've upgraded recently my Debian Sid machine, and now I can't press backspace in mutt(1) or neomutt(1) while reading a message to go up one line. This still works in xterm(1), but is broken in xfce4-terminal(1) and gnome-terminal(1). I originally reported this to xfce4-terminal, but they suggested the issue is probably with libvte, since gnome-terminal also shares this problem, and since the upgrade included libvte, but not xfce4-terminal. <https://gitlab.xfce.org/apps/xfce4-terminal/-/issues/327#note_93009> According to the guidelines, this could be severity critical, since it breaks other software, but since the breakage is mild, I think it's just severity normal. Have a lovely day!
