Package: reiserfsprogs Version: 1:3.6.27-8 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: josel.seg...@gmx.es
Dear Maintainer, After upgrading to latest initramfs-tools 0.144, the reiser related initramfs hook located in /usr/share/initramfs-tools/hooks/reiserfsprogs stopped working, making the update-initramfs to fail. I only used reiserfsprogs to read filesystems from a virtualized machine, but this problem might be breaking the whole system if the user is using Reiser for their root partition (TBH, I don't even know if that's possible). -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.10.4-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages reiserfsprogs depends on: ii libc6 2.39-7 ii libcom-err2t64 [libcom-err2] 1.47.0-2.3+b1 ii libreiserfscore0t64 1:3.6.27-8 ii libuuid1 2.40.2-7 reiserfsprogs recommends no packages.
