Ugh, yeah, I screwed up and forgot to merge the NMU. I had just noticed it from tracker.debian.org alerts that the upload had reintroduced bugs in Trixie, when I got your email on this bug report. I have uploaded 3.20240813.2 a few minutes ago merging in the NMU changes and hopefully fixing the oversight and closing this bug once again.
