No I'm aware of it, but decided not to cherry-pick the set of commits but rather wait that upstream releases the respective upstream version. if you need it urgently you might check that the commits https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1077023#10 are actually enough and we do not need more?
