Package: courier-authlib Version: 0.58-2 Severity: important
I installed courier-authlib-ldap and courier-imap, along with required packages, but I could not get it to work properly. I made sure "authldap" was in the module list, but it complained in /var/log/mail.log: authdaemond.plain: Unknown module 'authldap' skipped I used `authtest` to trigger this request. However, if I ran /usr/lib/courier/courier-authlib/authdaemond by hand, it actually could find the proper module and authenticated correctly. Looking at /etc/init.d/, it calls the programs inside of /usr/lib/courier/authlib/authdaemon* instead of the other (working for me) directory. I tried purging, rebuilding all the files, and continued to get this until I manually ran the courier-authlib version of the file, which the /etc/init.d/courier-authdaemon does not. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages courier-authlib depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libltdl3 1.5.22-4 A system independent dlopen wrappe ii libpam0g 0.79-3.1 Pluggable Authentication Modules l courier-authlib recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
