Package: referencing Version: 0.35.1-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: myles.pen...@canonical.com
Dear Maintainer, Problem: Ubuntu is looking to include python3-referencing in ubuntu/main but the package in the Debian archive, which is being created from git tags, does not contain the necessary python-referencing-suite. This library is required for autopkgtest and is not currently packaged. The autopkgtest option in d/control is disabled as a result. Potential fix: The version of this package in PyPi does include referencing-suite in full. Could Debian use the PyPi package in the archive rather than directly pulling from the git tags? This may be simpler than packaging python-referencing-suite separately. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers jammy-updates APT policy: (500, 'jammy-updates'), (500, 'jammy-security'), (500, 'jammy'), (100, 'jammy-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.5.0-1025-oem (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
