Hello, I am filing this intent to salvage silversearcher-ag-el because: 1. The maintainer has not worked on the package for over four years. 2. The NMU 0.48-1.1 has not been acknowledged for 2.5 years. 3. The package is currently RC buggy again due to #1077122, and this will require another NMU in about a month. Consequently, I believe that this package should be adopted under Debian Emacsen Team maintenance. The definition, criteria, and salvaging process is documented in the Developer's Reference: https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/developers-reference/pkgs.en.html#package-salvaging ยง5.12.2 states that the maintainer has 21 days to object to salvaging, and after that time the person who salvages the package will upload to the DELAYED queue. The maintainer has another 7 days to object to salvaging. The best case scenario is that the maintainer will resume maintenance of the useful silversearcher-ag-el package, so please reply to this email and object to salvaging! :) Kind regards, Nicholas
