Version in Debian is 1.7.2, which has been released back in 2019! There have been several releases upstream which fix many bugs (and add a few new features); latest one being 1.9.0 just released in July 2024 https://github.com/oetiker/rrdtool-1.x/releases Could we please have new Debian release?
