The latest version of sundials builds seamlessly on PowerPC, however, the post-build checks when the lintian checks are performed, fail. Lintian builds successfully, however, the dependence of `libsundials-dev` & `libsundials-fortran-dev` on obsolete package pkg-config => pkgconf, prevents a successful lintian run, resulting in failure leading to the package's apparent build failure.
