Source: calamares Version: 3.3.5-0ubuntu4 Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: arraybo...@gmail.com
The Kicksecure project, which currently is using Debian Bookworm, needs a Calamares feature (the ability to mark specific partitions as being excluded from LUKS encryption) that is not present in the version of Calamares in Bookworm (3.2.61-1). This feature is present in Calamares 3.3.8-1 (which is in Trixie), and thus it would be very helpful if Calamares 3.3.8-1 could be backported to Bookworm. In addition, the corresponding calamares-settings-debian package also needs backported. I am willing and able to maintain this backport myself, but am fine if the current Calamares maintainer (or someone else) would rather do it.
