As Adrian said, upstream supports LoongArch since version 1.7.0.
Now libunwind 1.7.0~rc2-1 lacks loong64 support in d/control.
The detail info can be found at

debian/control: enable building for loong64.
Please take care of the patch we added for loong64 in
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1051757#10.
Could you add loong64 support in the next upload?
