I'm nonetheless at least looking at all the failures and filing bug
reports when necessary. Once I've checked all the packages and the
key packages you've mentioned are ready, I'll go ahead with the
transition.
Please mail us before proceeding, so that we can check that things are
looking good and that there are no conflicting transitions, and we'll
give you the go-ahead.
Of course! As you can see on the bug web page, I've submitted bug
reports to pretty much all packages affected negatively by this
transition. As for the affected key packages:
- bctoolbox needs an update to the latest upstream version
- libgit2 has already been fixed in experimental
- rustc was a false positive
What do you suggest me to do? Do you think I should work on upgrading
bctoolbox and fixing the other packages, or should I just go ahead with
the transition after you'll tell me that things are ok?
Thanks!
