I think this can be closed; the reproducibility fix here was included in the upload of 1.5.0-1 and appears to be working well: mako is building reproducibly. There may be other nondeterminism issue(s) to track down in sqlalchemy but those do not appear to be related to this bug. If I'm mistaken and/or there's another reason to keep this active, please feel free to re-open the bug.
