Under kernels >= 2.6.17.rc1 xawtv displays the videostream on top of
every of its menus (e.g. the station chooser of xawtv) and every other
window, which overlaps with xawtv's main window.
This behaviour is new - when I boot with the current 2.6.16.19 kernel
(plain vanilla kernel from www.kernel.org, built with the same config
file as the 2.6.17.rc3 kernel) the xawtv window is clips correctly with
overlapping windows and also displays its menus on top of the xawtv
window.
My system: HP Kayak XM-600, 2 * PIII 867 MHz, Debian sid, X.org 7.0, nv
driver, Gnome.
