Currently, the "Short Biography" block on a person's NM page is an old-fashioned jQuery 2-element toggle. This approach is unfriendly to selection, because when you select some text with mouse, the element in which the selection resides is hidden; even when it's back visible, the selection is lost. It can be improved using the <details> and <summary> elements, natively supported since Firefox 49, Chrome 12, Safari 6, i.e. no compatibility issues. I've proposed a merge request at https://salsa.debian.org/nm-team/nm.debian.org/-/merge_requests/41. It also helps to remove jQuery, although that requires another change to remove the dropdown hover script. -- Sdrager, Blair Noctis
