No. Stop insisting.
Since this is an upstream RFE, I will refrain from engaging a BTS war. I
did not receive a proper justification of why this bug should be closed,
and I think it should open. I will let you the duty of reopening this
bug since you are the package maintainer and the one who closed it.
The most problematic behavior here is not your failure to justify
closing this bug against the submitter's will, but referring to the
request as "silly". I'm glad this comment hit someone "thick-skinned",
and expect such behavior to be an exception.
