Package: geoclue-2.0
Version: 2.7.1-2+b1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

according to the retiring of the Mozilla Location Service at June 14,
2024 no position requests do not work anymore, e. g. in firefox, gnome
maps or even geoclue-2-demo's where-am-i. Requests simply hang:

* call /usr/libexec/geoclue-2.0/demos/where-am-i

Expected:

the position is shown

Actual:

long call of the program and empty result.

This is an upstream problem too of course but are there alternatives
planned?
