To some extend, If i use /dev/zero or /dev/urandom, I get slight enhancement:
$ dd if=/dev/urandom of=/media/usb/test bs=1024 count=3000 171+0 records in 171+0 records out 175104 bytes (175 kB) copied, 4.81405 seconds, 36.4 kB/s which is still far away I can get on different HW with windows (roundly 1.2MB/s).
