I don't use a window manager: vncviewer is executed fullscreen as the only X client from my .xinitrc file. > I use sawfish as windowmanager (gnome) and xserver-xorg. I still have xfree86. The problem could be that when I switch to the virtual console, the modifier is released there, and the X event is sent only when I switch back to the X server. I don't know if this is what really happens, but this could explain the problem. Also, when I switch to the console, the system thinks that the Meta key is pressed. See bug #190751, and I currently get it with a 2.6.12 kernel. I don't know if this is related to the above problem, though. -- Vincent Lefèvre <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Web: <http://www.vinc17.org/> 100% accessible validated (X)HTML - Blog: <http://www.vinc17.org/blog/> Work: CR INRIA - computer arithmetic / SPACES project at LORIA -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
