It's a shame no-one replied to this bug from 2011! The above comment suggests the rule provided is no longer valid as the version is now different Also, we dont usually add rules for starup messages - if the above is only produced on startup we wouldnt add it anyway Is there still interest in adding rules for inetutils-syslogd to logcheck? if so, we'd need an updated set of rules, otherwise we will have to close this bug
