I have a requirement for the version 1.59 of ruby-grpc, which is for packaging gapic-common (#1072048) which is a dependency (and a dependency of several other dependencies) needed by gitlab 16.11.3. The current debian version of grpc, which is 1.51, is already lagging quite behind the upstream version (currently 1.64, I think), so it warrants an update sooner or later. Would you consider updating the package so that this blocker will be removed?
