I meant that as of GS 46 we should be able to login via RDP even if no gnome shell session is opened (or so I understood). I believe the system daemon is required for that. I am also interested in being able to login to a locked gnome shell session, which as far as I understand is possible with gnome shell 46. So I did not mean mixinf gnome-shell/gnome-remote-desktop version. My interest was into connection via RDP to a not unlocked or already opened remote Gnome Shell. As of now I us the "Allow Locked Remote Desktop" extension and gdm3 autologin on the remote gnome shell user session. I would like to get rid of these hacks (especially since I have to set an empty password on my gnome keyring for such a setup). Cheers, Alban
