Package: phpbb2 Version: 2.0.18-2 Severity: normal After two installations of phpbb2, one on sarge, one on etch, I think something goes wrong when using apache2, i.e. deselecting apache in the configuration dialog and selecting apache2 instead.
Although I can see apache2 gets a reload or similar at the end of installation, browsing to http://<server>/phpbb2/ yields in a 404 page, the logs say: | 192.168.1.1 - - [31/May/2006:23:55:51 +0200] "GET /phpbb/ HTTP/1.1" 404 299 (...) | [Wed May 31 23:55:51 2006] [error] [client 192.168.1.1] File does not exist: /var/www/phpbb A full restart of apache2 solves the problem. Perhaps a(nother?) reload might do the trick, too. Can you please check whether postinst (or whatever) does the right things? Thanks in advance.
