Thank you for the suggestion. I created a completely new user account with a new profile and as this user I also created a new Kaffeine configuration from scratch. However it didn't help, Kaffeine still crashes with a SIGSEV. I didn't change default Kaffeine configuration, I just copied my channels.dvb file to correct place. The last few lines of running Kaffeine --verbose and watching livetv were these: --- video_out: vpts/clock error, next_vpts=377180 cur_vpts=192629 video_out: vpts/clock error, next_vpts=377180 cur_vpts=194788 video_out: vpts/clock error, next_vpts=377180 cur_vpts=196949 osd: can't find out current locale character set demux_ts: read 0 packets too many times! KCrash: Application 'kaffeine' crashing... kaffeine: Fatal IO error: client killed audio_out: inserting 15406 0-frames to fill a gap of 28895 pts Unable to start Dr. Konqi --- Is there any command line switches that would produce better/more information / how could I produce better information about this crash? I didn't mention earlier, but everything else works just fine on this installation and other programs don't have any unexpected crashes. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
