Package: post-el Version: 1:2.6-2 Followup-For: Bug #1052195 Dear Maintainer,
Every time I lauch post-mode in emacs, the Compile-Log buffer shows up displaying 7 times the following: /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/post-el/post.el: Warning: ‘point’ is an obsolete generalized variable; use ‘goto-char’ instead. It also displays "Package cl is deprecated" in the very bottom line. I have no fluence in lisp so I can't help too much here, but lookin at the line 275 of '/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/post-el/post.el' you find (require 'cl) as well as some occurrences of 'point' along the code. Ihave no ideia on how complicated it can be to fix this, but I will try to help under any guidance to have this useful package working for us all.
