I noticed the package was scheduled for removal, contacted the current maintainer and asked if he still took care of it, and got a reply where he stated that he was happy to pass on the maintenance to someone else. I volunteered to orphan it, and is in the process of doing so. I have updated the salsa git repository with the latest upstream and planned to upload to experimental to see how it goes.
Then I noticed this bug report, and guess it is better to check if anyone is still interested in taking over the package before doing so. I plan to upload tomorrow, please volunteer to take over and update the salsa git repository with a new maintainer before this if you have a better idea. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
