Package: amule-common
Version: 2.1.1-3
Severity: important

Hello,

the amule-common package ships several files that are needed by all the
rest of amule packages, so that they can depend on it. Normally, when
one creates a -common or -data package, the resulting package only
contains arch-all files, which results in considerable archive space
saving.

In the amule-common package, the biggest directory is the one shipping
the translations (/usr/share/locale), with the size of /usr/bin being
very small in comparison. Please, move /usr/bin/ed2k.amule (probably
ed2k.wrapper too) and manpages to the amule-utils package, and make
amule-common Architecture: all.

Also, /usr/share/amule/webserver is a fairly big amount of arch-all data
which is replicated 12 times in the archive. I think considering shipping
it in amule-common as well is in order.

Thanks,
