Upon inspection of extracted *.deb files, it looks like the un-decorated symlinks are coming in as part
of libpoco-dev, rather than as part of the child libraries. I think moving them into their respective child libraries would fix this issue. Then, after such as change, I wonder why libpoco-dev would need to be arch specific.
