hmm... I thought I tried that one. I too fought the ugly re-quoting for a while, but had no joy in the time at hand. So yes, I'd be delighted to replace it with this if it really does work (now?). I'm still not exactly sure what changed in make to wreck this, but I'm really glad there is a tidy answer that works everywhere. Thanks a lot!
