I can confirm that after (limited) testing on aarch64, the following scenarios work for brandy:
2. Install libsdl1.2-compat-shim and run the program in a Wayland environment 3. Install libsdl1.2-compat-shim ... but this time with environment variable SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland 4. Install libsdl1.2-compat-dev and recompile the package. I no longer have a current X11 Debian system, so I can't test scenario 1) Stewart
