Package: iraf Version: 2.17.1-4 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: pweilbac...@aip.de
Dear Maintainer, iraf version 2.17-3 was installed with an iraf.desktop file that allowed easy start from the desktop menu. The menu item is now missing and I cannot find the corresponding file on my system. Slightly related: Is it documented anywhere that one should use the irafcl script to start IRAF? I don't see anything like that in a README nor on <https://iraf.readthedocs.io/>. -- System Information: Debian Release: trixie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.6.13-amd64 (SMP w/20 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages iraf depends on: ii libc6 2.37-15 ii libcfitsio10 4.3.1-1 ii libcurl4 8.6.0-1 ii libexpat1 2.5.0-2+b2 ii libreadline8 8.2-3 Versions of packages iraf recommends: ii iraf-noao 2.17.1-4 ii python3-pyraf 2.2.1-1+b4 ii saods9 8.5+repack-1 ii xgterm 2.1+dfsg-1 ii ximtool 2.1+dfsg-1 ii xterm 389-1 Versions of packages iraf suggests: ii iraf-dev 2.17.1-4 -- no debconf information
