I am unable to reproduce it in my machine and the mapping works just fine for me. What is the desktop environment you use - what is the display server protocol (wayland/x11)? Do you have any weird key mappings in your config? Does it happen even with the upstream kitty binary? If so, can you please report it in kitty's github tracker? Upstream is very responsive and can assist with this issue. Best, Nilesh
