unfortunately at the moment there is a regression related to those 2 functions which has caused the build to fail in almost all architectures

I tried to do some quick revert tests but unfortunately at the moment I didn't succeed and I don't have enough time to prepare a sufficiently updated Debian on my raspberry (for reproduce the issue) to continue with the tests
