* What led up to the situation?
I'm running amule-daemon in a desktop PC with Debian Testing. It starts on
boot, and I look at it only sometimes. Today I realized that amule-daemon
wasn't running. I look at its log file and view the following lines at the end
of the file:
2024-01-23 09:44:35: 09:44:35: Error: Failed to modify descriptor 19 in epoll
descriptor 12 (error 2: No existe el fichero o el directorio)

* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I knew that amule was working in the last days, so I look at
/var/log/apt/history.log for a change in the libraries that it depends on. I
find that libwx was changed from 3.2.4+dfsg-1 to 3.2.4+dfsg-2. I download the
debian packages for these libraries in 3.2.4+dfsg-1 version from
snapshot.debian.org, install them, an now amule-daemon is working!!
The packages that I download and have now installed are:
libwxgtk3.2-1_3.2.4+dfsg-1_amd64.deb
libwxgtk-webview3.2-1_3.2.4+dfsg-1_amd64.deb
libwxgtk-gl3.2-1_3.2.4+dfsg-1_amd64.deb
libwxbase3.2-1_3.2.4+dfsg-1_amd64.deb
I put these on hold for now.

problem. I'm not so expertise on software, but with time I can install packages
