Guido Lehwalder and Markus Krebs reported off-list that u-boot in
Debian stable is broken on SheevaPlug.
Markus Krebs bisected the DENX source and reported:

Guido Lehwalder tested a binary with this change and reported
that it fixes the issue.
So we need a stable update with this change.
