You know when using the $@ in a function, then it is not the arguments from the program we get.. See my /etc/init.d/asterisk above Is there a problem using $DAEMON instead of $REALDAEMON? Remember $REALDAEMON is not the realdaemon asterisk but the the safe_wrapper for some strange reason.
