just looking at old bug reports, i see that i cannot reproduce this issue. (time has passed, i've tested with 1.2.10-1.1 and 1.1.8-2) that is, i *can* reproduce the issue with the weird "3-dB" resp "3+dB" syntax, but it is working nicely with "3dB-" and "3dB+" instead. so probably the problem has been fix, or you were using some old-style syntax that was silently deprecated?
