You want $ apt-cache search mail-notification mail-notification - mail notification in system tray When 3.0 of mail-notification is released you will hopefully see it in debian, with the updated support for newer versions of evolution. > and, to upstream is to integrate email notify within evolution. For now this is only done via dbus. One other application which supports evolution's dbus-signal is gnome-osd. Try it out.
