2006/5/28, Yurij Pospelow <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Package: nut-usb
Version: 2.0.1-4
Severity: important

The text of messages logged (such a kind messages are also appear on all
virtual consoles every 6 s but not in KDE Konsole):
...
May 26 06:27:33 localhost kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1889
May 26 06:27:40 localhost kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 31
May 26 06:27:46 localhost kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 224
...
With apcupsd I saw only one such a kind message while booting and that shows
the problem is resolvable. The severity level is due to the importance of
virtual consoles in work.

/etc/nut/ups.conf:
[borzoi]
        driver = hidups
        port = /dev/usb/hiddev0
ups.mfr: American Power Conversion
ups.model: Back-UPS RS 500 FW:30.j4.I USB FW:j4
I am using Debian GNU/Linux 2.4, kernel 2.4.27-2-686.
Versions of packages nut-usb depends on:

the hidups driver, which is using linux/hiddev stack, is being
superced by the newhidups driver which is libusb based.
A good thing would so be to test this last, but the support for
manufacturers other than MGE is only available as of 2.0.2.
Not that I don't have such messages here, so it might be related to hiddev.
So, it's a bit of wait and see.

Thanks for your report,
Arnaud
